Here is a little about me and my family.

My wife Becky was baptized in 86.  I was won without a word ( 1 Pet. 3:1).
When the friends came to study with her, I would go upstairs. Then she
broke her ankle and I had to minister to her and would stay when the
friends came.  Since they were sisters, the next time they came, the
sister who was conducting brought her husband and the rest is history.
That couple are our true spiritual parents and they are parents to
almost half of our congregation.  They came way out of the territory to
study with us and we came to be a letter of recommendation for them. I went
with Becky when she was going over the questions for baptism and I
knew all the answers.  The brother asked me why I wasn't getting baptized.  I
said I wasn't ready. Well, the next year I was baptized, in 87.  Jason (only
child,  he's 25 now) was baptized in 94.  He works for a computer store
doing Telephone Tech support.

How Becky and I met?  Well, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
OOPS, wrong story!  I was in the military stationed about 2 hrs away
from my parents home.  I would drive home for the weekends.  Every saturday night I
would go roller skating, loved it.  Well this one Sat. I met this cute
girl there. She was there with her girlfriend.  We met in line to get back onto
the skating floor for the second session.  Now remember I'm 6'7",  well I
had to bend over to tighten my skate.  Becky's friend is short and
right behind me.  You guessed it.  I stuck my butt right in her face.  She smacked
me. Becky and I started talking and then I asked her to skate couples with me.
During that night I jokingly asked her to marry  me,  well she held me to it.
Three months later we were married, mind you we only saw each
other on weekends during that time.  Lots of phone calls and letters though.
We even went skating on our wedding night.  We went skating regularly
after that until she broke her ankle.  We've only been a few times since then.
We are getting too old to do it that much.  We used to dance skate
together and received many compliments on our skating.  Well the rest is, as they say, history.
We have been married for 27 years as of Jan 2001.  Wow time sure flies
when you are having fun and busy in the work of the Lord.
